Greetings: I just joined the group to learn more about the program and also to get some help. I used Windows XP Home. My immediate problem is that I am unable to convert my Word 2000 files to Acrobat PDF files (I have v.5.0). After clicking on the Adobe icon in the Word document, (or on 'File'> print>) and clicking in the 'Save' dialog box to print to PDF, the progress bar moves halfway and then hangs up. Even after I do the three-finger-salute (Alt-Control-Delete)and stop the process, I find that the PDF print job is pending when I check in Control Panel>Printers, and then must cancel the printing to remove it.) Could this have something to do with fonts. I tried to get info from the Adobe site, but became utterly confused at the mass of info there. Anyone have some thoughts on this? Need more info? Thanks in advance. Chip __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Protect your identity with Yahoo!
