Pat   The smart money would be on a font problem, especially if it's on a PC. Fairly easily isolated by temporarily restricting the font usage to just the one, say Arial. We tend to get a few corrupt fonts on our system which need to be reinstalled from time to time. That said, no doubt one of the PostScript experts will be able to isolate/define the problem with a little more certainty. Peter
