Hi Bob,

My company has a commercial standalone tool called pdf2vector, which batch converts 
PDF to a number of scalable and editable vector graphics file formats including 
industry-standard CGM. Other output formats include EMF for MS Office, MIF for 
FrameMaker and XML-standard SVG for the Web. There's also a ps2vector module for 
PostScript/EPS files. The software is available in desktop, server and developer 
configurations on Windows, Linux and UNIX platforms. More info at the URL below.
