Hi Mike

I had initially thought that it was down to finger trouble but on re-reading your
Email I wonder if your PC has been set up for multiple users? Perhaps on a network? If
so then do you have administrative rights to install programs? It's a bit of a stab in
the dark but you are not doing anything wrong in expecting Acrobat to produce pdf's as
described - mine does so. Another track might be to try the Adobe.com to see if the
'problem' has been flagged previously. Sorry I can't be a little more specific.

Peter

Peter;

I click on the create pdf icon on the tool bar, scroll
down to from multi-documents. I get a menu screen and
add the documents that I want to make into a pdf.
Once I have that I click on the button to make it
happen. It will start and then I get the following
error: Unable to locate the following Adobe PDF
Settings file or other resources: C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Documents\Adobe PDF
6.0\Settings\rh X, .joboptions Do you want to run
the installer in repair mode Yes No. I have run the
installer to repair it about six times now and it
still hasn't help.

If you need more please let me know.
