A PDF has a trim, bleed, art, crop and media box - so the ball-park is wider ....

Is there a fundamental difference between postscript file and a PDF
regarding bounding boxes. Whenever I try calculate a PDF file in my proofing
software (BESTColor which, according to its documentation is perfectly able
to accept PDFs) it is always cropped to a set size, just short of A4 when
the page is actually A3+. If I try calculate the postscript file, from which
the PDF was distilled, I get the full page as normal.
I'd appreciate anyones thought on this matter.
Many thanks in advance.
Jonathan
