When you print your Quark file, you need to do the following things:
1. Layout tab
Turn on registration; centered.
2. Setup tab
Printer - Adobe PDF
Paper size - custom
9.5 wide
12 high
Position - center
3. Bleed tab
.125 for each edge
If you are exporting a PDF file, you make choices on the Output tab.
These are instructions for the Mac - Windows screens may be slightly
different, but the idea is the same.

Acrobat 6 Pro can show you if a file has bleeds or not, but it can
NOT add them if it doesn't.
You'll need a 3rd party tool such as BoxEditor (
