This file belongs in the following folder: Adobe\Acrobat 6.0\PDFMaker\Office You might want to do a search on your system for the file "pdfword". You should also check out this Adobe help document (with the PDFMaker). http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/31e8e.htm Rich -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jane_Edwards Sent: Wednesday, April 14, 2004 10:14 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [PDF-Basics] CIB page 71-pdfmword.dll PDF-Basics is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com/ __________________________________________________________________ I am working through CIB for Acrobat 6 Standard. On page 71 it says to convert a Microsoft Word file to PDF using the "Convert to PDF button". I get an error message that says: "The following error occurred while Printing: File not found: pdfmword.dll". Just before doing this exercise, I ran Help > Detect and Repair in Acrobat 6 Professional, as directed on page 61. I know I can convert it other ways, but what can I do to make it work as it says in the CIB? What is making it not work? I have Acrobat 6.0.1 Professional, Windows, with a PostScript printer (Xerox Phaser 4400).
