This is Darwin Version 8.10.1 (Mac OS X 10.4).

Please note that I was referring to the native libiconv that comes
with the system and not GNU libiconv. I'm attaching my config.log, can
you please take a look? I think that configure detected libiconv on
the system so I'm a bit confused..
