I've run into a problem which I've never encountered before. Chronologically, this is the scenario:

1) A sponsor provided both rtf and pdf forms for submission of information to them. Both forms have to be completed on the user's PC/MAC and then uploaded to the sponsor's server (no direct data submission, just upload completed form document). When one of my faculty members used the pdf form and uploaded it, all of the data entered into the form disappeared once it reached the server. (As an aside, no, the faculty member did not use Reader. ) The rtf forms provided by the sponsor uploaded with no problems at all.

2) I took the same pdf form, completed it and uploaded it (FTP) to several servers, including those at other universities, and there were absolutely no problems... data stayed intact.

3) I then uploaded it to the sponsor's server and, voila, all of the form data disappeared, duplicating the faculty member's experience.

4) I took one of my own forms, which is completed and uploaded to our server many times a day without any problems, and uploaded it to the sponsor server... again, all data disappeared.

It appears to me to be a problem with the sponsor's server but they don't think so. I'm at a loss as to what the problem might be. Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Thanks,

Rosemary
