Yes, it's possible. You can use FDFtoolkits(free) or purchase activePDF
toolkits for this process. The only problem with using the FDF toolkits is
that it's not allowed you to save the pdf with data so that you can send
back to the customers. ActivePDF will be your best alternative if you want
to save and send the pdf to users. So it's all depends on what you want to
accomplish. The users only need to download the Acrobat Reader(free) if they
want to view the pdf. Otherwise, everything will be done on the server.

Good luck. Let me know if you want more details.

Hello,

I'm new to this forum. I was wondering if anyone out there could help
me with the following question. Not to work it all out but more do you
think it would be worth trying.

I work for a large insurance company, currently our many thousands of forms
are available to our intermediary's through an intranet. This is becoming
very
popular and we are now thinking of using forms containing form fields.

My question is:

Would it be possible that when a customer asks for a form through the
intranet the
form could be automatically filled in with his name and address etc, saved
and then
sent back to him. Most of our intermediary's do not have Acrobat.

Many thanks,
Martin
