Within a PDF-document, I want users to fill in form fields and - via a button - send them back to me, either as a fdf file or as html data. The user only have the acrobat reader. Using the Acrobat reader, Adobe unfortunately prevents the user from sending mails. On the other hand, maybe a host connection or something similar might work if the reader runs within a browser window. Is there a way to transfer field data out of the reader to the server? What kind of cgi script or other measures is necessary to receive the data sent by my PDF-form and how does it work? Thanks for help!
