Hmmm... interesting advice. I have a few problems following it, but that might be me...

A .prn file is the windows "standard" file for a file created by the selected printer driver, for being fed to the printer.

Now, as we are working with a PostScript interpreter for creating a PDF (that is Distiller...), the .prn file would have to _be_ PostScript.

Maybe your adviser was mixing up "EPS" (Encapsulated PostScript) and "PS" (PostScript).

Hope, this can help.

In regards to that "dashed line" problem we're having with our FRP based
PDFs, I've been told to use a ".prn" file format instead of PostScript.
Does anyone have more information on this? How do I make a .prn file?
Any good web resources on this topic?

Thanks,
