Hi list, I'm reposting a question sent in last week, but maybe didn't get thru... We have an on-going delima ourselves regarding spot color separations. Some of our clients design their own forms, and when they are satisfied with their work, save as pdf to send to us, sometimes we are not aware that this is being done. When we receive the pdf, it needs to be separated, and since we use spot color printing opn webs, instead of CYMK, this is a problem. We generally have to bring the pdf into Illustrator and manually select all the different spot colors. For obvious reasons, including the amount of time it takes, plus the possibility of missing something, we are looking for some other method of doing sopt color separations correctly. Any suggestions.
