Hello all, I have developed several interactive PDF forms using Acrobat 5.0. I have now upgraded to Acrobat 6.0. In one of my forms, I have a few hidden fields that are used to calculate the amount owed by the customer when they submit the form.
After opening the file in Acrobat 6 and then doing a "Save As", people using Acrobat 5 and Acrobat Reader 5, have problems with the calculations. When the amount is calculated, it writes over the text with the new amount instead of replacing it. As far as I know, I am just using the standard calculation functionality in Acrobat. I didn't change anything in the form field properties, so I think this is an error between the two versions of the Adobe software. When I test the form using Acrobat 6 and Adobe Reader 6, the amount is updated without any problems. Has anyone run into this problem?
