Sabrina,
Under the "Advanced" drop-down menu, there is a "PDF Optimizer" option. At
the top of the PDF Optimizer window, there is an option to select
"Compatible with: Acrobat or later". When you close the window it will save
your file so that it is compatible with 5.0.
By the way, I had the same challenge when working between 6.0 and 5.0.

Subject: [PDF] Acrobat 6.0//Saving backwards

I hope this question is not as dumb as I fear it may be, but here goes...
Is there a way to save from Acrobat 6.0 and create a 5.0 or lower compatible
file?
I have tried Save As and there is no option to save backwards. I have tried
printing
to a lower PDF version but that doesn't appear to work either.
