Earlier in this thread, I indeed offer that by choosing the
correct joboptions for the Distiller, i.e. PDF 1.4 or earlier
compatibility, there is no issue about opening PDF files
produced by Acrobat 6 in earlier versions of Acrobat or Reader.
Subsequently in the thread, questions came up, of course, about
what happens when you MODIFY or even just SAVE AS from Acrobat 6.
(PS: From what I understand, a good number of your power customers
in Israel are REALLY UPSET because they cannot buy upgrades to the
International English version of Acrobat in Israel in the meantime.
And similar problems with other Adobe programs and the inability to
license some Adobe font packages. Such mishagoss!)
