Hi folks, I've got Windows 2000, Outlook 2000 SR1, latest MS updates on security in place (just downloaded one last week, which is about the time the problem started -- uninstalled update, but did not fix), and Adobe Acrobat Professional (v6). For months, I could scan files on my Xerox Document Centre 425 and email directly to my account. A single click on the PDF attachment would open the file nicely. Since last week, I can still open PDF attachments from all other sources, but no longer from my Xerox machine. A single click now results in the "save to disk" or "open" window. If I try to open, I open into an empty window under C:\WINNT\system32. If I try to save, I get "Outlook cannot save the URL to a file. Path does not exist. Make sure the path is correct." If I try to move the file to the desktop or some other folder, I get, "Cannot create another system semaphore." I repaired Adobe Acrobat 6 last night. I uninstalled the XMSL (or whatever) update that MS installed last week. Still nothing. Any ideas? Gary Steffy To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdf.html
