Wish I had solution, but I too have the same problem and would also like
to be notified of solution for this problem.
I recently upgraded from acrobat ver. 5 to ver. 6 and it's been since
I've been using ver. 6 this problem has begun.
Thanks,
Carolyn

I'm trying to get a handle on an ongoing problem I encounter when
combining multiple PDF's into one document in Acrobat.
The PDF's are created from multiple sources and use both TT and Type 1
fonts.
The problem is that in portions of the document, the type displays and
prints with characters appearing pushed together and laying on top of
each other. For instance the word "and" would display and print with
the "n" and "d" pushed together and overlaying each other.
I've seen this problem when combining multiple PDF's in Acrobat 4.0, 5.0
and 6.0.
Does anyone have an explanation and/or solution for this problem?
Best Regards,
Marcel
