Hi Sue,

What specific errors are you receiving? Is it when the PDF opens .. or is Pitstop creating an error log?

Also - are you pure Windows or are Mac clients passing the files into the hot-folders?

Hi Listers,

We are running Pitstop Server 3.01 on a Dell 2500, Windows 2000 Server. We have a 3rd party software that is passing the PDF to Pitstop Server via hot folder. We have the Pitstop profile setup to fix a few things; line weights, strip ICC profiles, remove ICC profiles and such. When we get the PDF back from Pitstop we seem to be getting a lot of corrupted files. Is anyone else having issues with Pitstop corrupting files.

Our 3rd part vendor wants to point at Pitstop, but I am not convinced.

Please advise!

Thanks in advance, Sue

Well, I don't know what to tell you all.

I just downloaded the Pitstop Server 3.01 installer for OS 9 dated October
1, 2003. Anyone want a copy of it? It's running in demo mode on my
PowerBook, and the OSX version is running on my G4. If you are running 1.61,
you should look at v3.01. You will like it a whole lot more.

Now, the plug-in requires Acrobat 6.0 Pro, and that does require OSX as we
all know.

I know he asked for the server version, since that's the subject of the
thread.

Yes, it's available fort OS 9. I use it every day.

He asked about PitStop SERVER - NOT the plug-in.

The server version is NOT available for Mac OS 9.
