Thanks Steve, I'll trial the PDF-Multi-Print. Ideally though as there is going to be 30plus pdfs containing a mix of A4 and A3 we would want a single pdf to produce a complete version of the file, whilst recognising the difference between A4 and A3 pages.

One possible solution is to keep the files separate and automate the printing process.
PDF-Multi-Print will print a very large number of PDF files as a totally automated

HI
I have a load of a4 word files and a load of a3 word files that when I 
combine them all to pdf and insert them into one pdf and print them out, 
ALL the pages print out as a4. I could do it all as a sepperate process 
but we have masses of files and it would take ages. Is it to do with a 
conversion from word to pdf setting OR an actual setting on the printer 
we are using??
I need to print out the complete file with the pages in the correct a4 
and a3 size.
