[PDF] Creating Graphics - Text goes fuzzy

All -   Not exactly a PDF question, but I thought with the expertise out there that someone may be able to tell me how to correct a problem, or at least tell me why it is happening.   When exporting a graphic that contains text from Adobe Illustrator 9 (Windows 2000 Pro), if I use CMYK, the text ends up fuzzy.  If I use RGB, it turns out fine.   Any thoughts as to what might be causing this?   Thanks, Brian
