I have a colleague using OS 10.2.6 with Acrobat 5.05. Acrobat crashes 
when she does the following:

Open an existing .pdf document
Select the Form tool from the menu bar
Draw a form field in the document
Application freezes/crashes
Other than an upgrade to Acrobat 6 (not an option for the immediate 
future), is there a solution?

She may run CacheOut or Onyx (most powerfull). These (free) utilities 
can remove some/all cached files from the system, deleting the prefs 
file may be usefull too.
Otherwise, she may re-install...
