Is it possible to have a link go from a Table of Contents Page to a
named
destination in the same Adobe PDF document? I have a 300 page MS Word document and would like to be able to link to named destinations throughout the document. Can this be accomplished with bookmarks? I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional and am working on an XP Operating System. I would greatly appreciate assistance. Jane Birkenstock I believe the answer to your question is
"yes". If the original Word document has working
links,
they will again function after the
document has been converted to .pdf. It is also
possible
to construct functioning links AFTER the
doc has been converted. I have done this myself,
though I AM NOT an Acrobat
expert.
I am looking for the method of making a
.pdf file editable from within Adobe Acrobat Reader.
I have a job application that has that
property. I downloaded it from the Internet and can
attach it to an email and send it to
you. Use Acrobat Reader to open it and you will see
that
is editable.
