You might want to reinstall the Quark 6 on your computer. My experience with Export to PDF is that it makes bloated PDFs, but it isn't generally slow. It is using a Jaws PDF engine instead of the true Adobe Distiller. If in Quark you use "Adobe PDF" as your Printer Description and use Printer/Save as File/Format Postscript as your output option (and then Acrobat Distill the .ps), you should be able to create quick, normal sized PDFs. I would not rely on the Quarz PDF engine for anything professional. I now use Export as PDF as emergency backup should everything else fail. Let me know if this helps. 1/11/04 8:10 AM, Mark Cline at [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > > The PDF list is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com > __________________________________________________________________ > > I can't seem to get the Export to PDF function on Quark to work.
