Sounds like you have a buffer overflow problem related to fragmented files and a slow CD burner. Several things you can try: 1. Scan and Defragment your hard drive (if using Windows use a commercial product such as O&O defragmenter rather than the crap built in to Windows) before the burn 2. Turn off hard drive write caching 3. Use a quality CD burn software such as Nero 6 or Roxio 4. Try different media -- I found the blueish dye el-cheapo media actually works better than some of the name-brand media using the light green dye. These steps solved my similar problems.
