I'm am using Adobe Acrobat 5.0 and MS Excel 2000 running within the same computer. Files may be stored on either my computer or a central server. I am looking for the ability to link to a destination name (or page) within a PDF file from an MS Excel file. Using the Hyperlink function in MS Excel, I can link to a PDF file. This works for bringing up the PDF file, but only to the first page. If I place a "#destination_name" at the end of the URL as recommended for HTML, it still only opens the file to the first page. I did this with a bookmark within the PDF file and made sure the destination name matched what I added to the URL. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
