The Author you see is whatever gets put in the Info dictionary - where that value 
comes from 
depends on the application from which the PS/PDF was made. For example, if the source 
is 
MS-Word, the Author will be Name from the User Information tab.

If you don't care what the other summary info says, you can set just the Author by 
putting:

[ /Author (Yossi) /DOCINFO pdfmark

in prolog.ps (and remember to instruct Distiller to use prolog and epilog files).
