A PDF can, and often contains, bitmap images. It can also include text, vector graphics, variable information, form content, and other objects and hidden instructions. My boss asked me "Is a PDF a bitmap file?" I know that this is probably not a good question because I have not given any additional information. Unfortunately I do not have additional information. The reason for the question has something to do with a legal issue. My initial answer was no, since a PDF can contain editable text but I just am not sure. If anyone could offer any help I would certainly appreciate it.
