I'm not familiar with Visio, but in Acrobat 6 there is a checkbox in the General
Preferences>General menu that needs to be unchecked for links from another document to
open to a specific page. Take the check out of "Open cross-document links in same
window". Good luck.

Opinions expressed are mine. Why are you looking at me like that?
__________________________________________________________________

To explain my problem in simple words.

Visio is my top document. When activating a hyperlink an other document (
pdf file) should be opened on a specific!!!!! page. After showing this
page I will go back to Visio.
Both documents are stored on our local server.

The Visio presentation as well as the PDF file will become part of a
training course.
So when creating a hyperlink to a document of 1 to 2 pages it is sufficient
to get the front page.
But when creating a hyperlink to a document of more then 50 pages and you
will show only one specific page it is not acceptable to get the front page
and then to page through third document.
