That can work with some files, but not if the job's a brochure wherein folds, crossovers and perfs are design factors. People forget to add the bleed in their original file. B. People forget, or don't know how, to turn on and include the bleed amounts in the print dialog box. C. People turn on the bleeds, but forget to print on a custom paper size that allows for the bleeds. D. People don't turn on the crops. E. Some export programs (like CorelDraw) include the bleeds and/or crop information, but when the PDF is opened, it looks like it is 8.5 x 11. One needs to go into the crop tool to change the page margins so the bleeds will show.
