Whatever.

I know I started this thread and it's gotten out of hand and I apologize for that, but
I can't help myself and I have to respond and it's my last word on the matter. I have
3 PCs; 2 at work, 1 at home, that run 24/7 without EVER needing to be rebooted except
for software/patch/antivirus required reboots. I have a Mac that rarely makes it
through an entire day without locking up and needing to be rebooted and I hardly ever
use it! I wrote the initial message in good faith by offering an olive branch to the
loyal Mac community as I will probably be one of them soon, but let's keep the
militant loyalty I referred to before, confined to the office and grumblings to IT.
Everyone has their own experience with this arguement and it's one that will rage on
indefinitely I'm sure. Can't we all just get along? (Did I really just type that?)

Opinions expressed are mine, but everyman has his price.

Of course, the market share for Macs is smaller than pee cees (thought
not nearly as small as the Wintel world states, but be that as it is
one needs all sorts of utilities along with prayer to keep even a new
pc running smoothly.

I manage a shop of 20 macs and 2 pcs. The macs pretty much just work.
The pcs need constant work. Ppl. are wising up, not wasting their
money on uneeded utilities.
