When you installed Acrobat Pro, it should have created a printer called Adobe PDF. Can't you just print the PDF from this printer?

Subject: [PDF] Problems with PDF driver on Windows XP

I'm not sure if anyone here can help me. I subscribed to this list a while back because I own the full version of Acrobat 6 Professional and I use it to create PDFs for output on my PowerMac G5. No problem.

But I also have a Windows XP box. It's what I use for contact and business management. I installed QuickBooks Pro the other day and I can't email invoices because the PDF driver built-in to QuickBooks won't install. Same with another 3rd party PDF driver I tried. I finally got it to install manually (via Add a Printer) following directions from Amyuni tech support but nothing will actually print. I can now see the driver in the list, but I get an error message when I try to create a document.

I have checked the disk and repaired the registry and I can't find the problem. I don't know what else to try.

Windows XP is not my first language, I've been a Mac user forever. Is anyone familiar with troubleshooting PDF driver issues in Windows and would be willing to drop me a line to help me figure this out? I'd appreciate it.
Intuit has "escalated" the issue and they say they'll call me back (after a very useless hour on the phone yesterday) but I'm not holding my breath.
