Enfocus Pitstop can check if your PDF has differing orientation and then error/warn you.....

From here you could extract the pages in question and then apply the 'Add copied graphics' command - then re-merge the PDFs.

Or - Pitstop Server could place the error pages (ones of different orientation) in a folder for the above actions list to be performed. The success (or no change orientation pages) can have the alternate action list applied.

Not exactly slick ... but providing your PDFs do not have any/many subsetted fonts then it just might work.

I want to add a logo [using the Pitstop function Add Copied Graphics] to
(only) portrait pages, but not landscape ones.

What do you mean by 'Process'?

Detect, change, do something else with the page?

Does anyone know how to create a PitStop script that processes only
portrait
pages in a document and ignores landscape pages?

Thanks,
