pdfbox issues with media box

I have problems with missing constants in class PDPage: The PAGE_SIZE 
constants are missing for the A0-A6 formats.
I'd also like to kearn how to figure out the page format of a document 
that yields an empty (null) getMediaBox(). Acrobat detects the page 
format properly.
Please answer to my email directly since I do not have the chance to 
access the stuff on the apache website.
