Haven't done this, but it sounds like it shouldn't be too difficult. You can set an "on open" action which will instruct the PDF reader software to jump directly to a bookmark when it opens the file.

I am thinking of a process below i) Create a copy of original document and modify by placing a bookmark at a particular word. ii) Save the document. iii) In browser by giving some command to open the document with marked bookmark in front.
