Jeff,

I tried using a PS Printer (like HP Color LaserJet PS) to create
Postscript.
My postscript files got corrupted using this method. It's very possible
that I did not configure the printer properly, but that's not a
knowledgeable area of mine. When printing to the Adobe Distiller to
create the Postscript, everything works just fine.

Thank you, that is what I thought.

I have one more question and observation. I am using Windows 2000. If
I
configure a PS printer (HP Color LaserJet PS) to use a PDF port, the
printing is much faster than if I print to the Acrobat Distiller. The
resulting PDF files appear to be equivalent. Where do you set the
options
for deleting the log files and automatically opening Acrobat for each
document printed in this case? For the Acrobat Distiller printer, the
options are displayed and can be set accordingly. However, I haven't
found
a setting for a newly created PDF port.

Thank you,
Jeff Ballance
