You do realize that the PDF.OCX is NOT a supported developer tool, right?!?!



the text paints very slowly from top to bottom. When I open the same file in Acrobat it displays quickly, there is no painting of the text. Is there a setting in Distiller that affects this? Other PDF files display quickly. I have used the screen and eBooks setting with similar results.


It's not an issue of Distiller, but of Acrobat itself. When running stand alone, it can do different types of caching and rendering that it can't do when running via OLE embedding...


Now, why does your document react like this - I don't know. If you want to send it to me, I'll be glad to look at it.
