Terminology: the membership program is ASN (Adobe Solutions Network). The kit you probably mean is the Acrobat SDK. Adobe have SDKs for many of their products, so precision is important. > > We currently are using Adobe to disperse a majority of our > information. Adobe what? I feel sure I answered this somewhere else. You can do this but it means COMPLETELY recoding and replacing the find function - which is definitely non-trivial. Also you should observe that Find is COMPLETELY different in the 6.0 product set. > > We also need the ability to add in a plug-in that is compatible with > both PC's and MAC's (so we are able to use this executable > over and over > by simply modifying the PDF file name). Now I'm getting confused as to what you mean by Adobe. Plug-ins are written for Acrobat and installed by the user. You can create Mac and Windows plug-ins, separate files of course. But what do you mean by "modify the file name"? Are you trying to do something that goes with a PDF file independently of the viewer program? If so, you cannot do that. Aandi
