Here is another option

for this method to work all PDFs must be disclosed.
See the JavaScript guide for 'disclosed' property details....


use a javascript button to go to a target PDF/page#

//capture the current PDF location and page num
global.docu = this.path
global.pag = this.pageNum

//go to a target PDF
var t =app.openDoc('pathtoTargetPDF')
//go to page 4  in target pdf
t.pageNum = 3

once in the target PDF use a Javascript to go back

//go back to source PDF
var bac =app.openDoc('global.docu')
//go back to source page #  in source pdf
bac.pageNum = global.pag
