My colleague is having a weird problem with a PDF form he developed with
Acrobat. When the form is downloaded, it initializes some fields
(today's date, for instance). When I download this into Mozilla, or
open it standalone in the Reader, it works fine (including displaying an
"alert" at the top of the javascript code).

However, when we download it into IE, the first page displays, but no
other pages display, and we don't see the javascript alert. The CPU on
the Acrobat process jumps to over 90% and stays there until we leave the
document.

The second page of this form (and further, I believe) has radio buttons
and dropdown lists, which we haven't done much with other forms before.

We tried running a "File I/O" monitor while downloading the form, and we
found that while it's spinning, there are no significant file operations
going on, just to eliminate that possibility.
