Our Quite Revealing plug-in dynamically creates a new PDDoc and opens a window for it. The document contents are dynamically generated. Problem: We want to allow the user to simply close this new document window without getting a prompt for save. We therefore clear the PDDocNeedsSave flag at every opportunity. This includes after each modification, in an IdleProc, and in response to AVAppWillCloseAllInternalDocs. This seems to work, though not 100% reliably, in Acrobat 5. (5.05 on the Mac, we find, may be behaving like 6 on Mac and Windows). In Acrobat 6, closing this window, or quitting Acrobat, always seems to produce a "do you want to save..." prompt. Are we going about this the wrong way? Is this prompt based on something other than the PDDocNeedsSave flag? Aandi To change your subscription: http://www.pdfzone.com/discussions/lists-pdfdev.html
