There are a number of document-level methods supporting them, including "createDataObject" and "importDataObject". To do the "run once" thing, we end up creating a PageOpen event and having it test a global variable to see if that particular script needs to be run. JS compatibility across multible version of acrobat can force you to do some strange things. --Mark Storer Software Engineer Cardiff Software #include <disclaimer> typdef std::disclaimer<Cardiff> Discard; > -----Original Message----- > From: Stefano Maestri [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, July 10, 2003 7:13 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [PDFdev] Embedded File Streams & Javascript Document > > > > PDFdev is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com > _____________________________________________________________ > > Hi all. > I would like to embed a file stream inside my pdf according to 3.10.3 > PDFReference paragraph. > I understand that I have to use the /EmbeddedFiles, but I can't figure > out how to do it. > Another question is about insert a Document level Javascript > inside the > pdf, so the it could be executed when the doc is open. > I understood that if I put an /Javascript entry in the name dictionary > this script will executed when the doc did open. > But I can't find any example, since acrobat streams everything. > > > So can anyone provide some informations how to do solve these > problems? > > _____________ > Stefano Maestri > Sygest s.r.l. > ASN Member > Telefono0521/304020 > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Leonard Rosenthol > Sent: gioved 10 luglio 2003 14.08 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [PDFdev] Search PDF document from a web browse > > > PDFdev is a service provided by PDFzone.com | http://www.pdfzone.com > _____________________________________________________________ > > At 1:32 PM +0200 7/10/03, Andrea Scolari wrote: > >I've build a site with Tomcat/Cocoon and I will implement a search > >engine also for PDF document.
