I reached to put an jpg image into a PDF via plug-in calling
PDEContentAddElem() and reading the image stream directly from the jpg
file.

I'm trying to do the same by hand with a hex editor.
So I copied the jpg stream inside the 8 0 obj defining the right length
for the stream.
/Resources
<< /ProcSet 6 0 R
        /Font << /F1 7 0 R >>
        /XObject << /Im1 8 0 R >>
        /ExtGState << /GS1 10 0 R >>
>>

When I try to open the pdf, I get the message "Insufficient data for an
image.".
With Enfocus browser, I'm comparing the document created via plug-in
and the handly one.
It seems the difference is in the "/Im1 --Data--"; the first has a valid
decoded length while the second as 0.
One time, and don't remember why and how, I saw a valid length also for
the second file, but the length and the data didn't match with the first
one.

The rest of the document seems to be right.

I suppose I'm forgetting something very little, but also very important.
Since I can't publish on the web my pdf, because I can't access to web
server, there is anyone that I could send it, to check the syntax or the
structure?
Thanks.
