I copied the following code out of the Help files and pasted into the
JavaScript window in the Action tab for a Button:
this.saveAs("/c/temp/test.pdf")
But it does not save the file.
I am using something similar, syntax wise, to read a text file into the form
and it works fine:
this.importTextData("/c/temp/TabOutput.txt")
Can anyone venture a guess as to why the saveAs command is not working ?
I tried several other examples that I cut and pasted directly from the
JavaScript Help files from the SDK, and none of them have resulted in a
saved file.
Once I get it to work with the filename hardcoded, I plan to replace it with
a variable name, but I'm trying to get the saveAs command to work first.
Windows XP
Acrobat Professional 6.0
Any thoughts are appreciated.
