Parsing some pdf file types we find the following construction (in a /Resource dictionary) that according to us is not correct: /ColorSpace 702 0 R ... with the following object definition 702 0 obj << / /DeviceGray >> end The character before and after the first slash is a space. Our program crashes when parsing this, but we are not sure how to resolve it. Can we just remove the single slash or does it have a meaning? I remember an odd case in PostScript where variables without name were used (and also accepted), but I do not think this is allowed in pdf.
