I am wondering why I won't get any help from this mailing list. Isn't this list supposed to be a programmer to programmer help tool? Of course I don't expect to get help from Adobe but as fellow programmers, if you know how to use it, or have experience with it, why can't you offer your help?
Leonard was probably speaking for the majority of the developers on this list who generally do not rely on unsupported/undocumented functionality in their software, especially since it appears Adobe did some concsious crippling of the PDF.ocx to prevent such usage (it would conflict with their ability to sell certain products).
As this forum is not moderated by Adobe you are free to ask this question, but your chances of obtaining a meaningful answer are low.
As a side, I have seen certain programs use PDF.ocx quite reliably/successfully, so depending on the expected longevity and resources available to maintain your software you may find it usable (but beware that the next version of reader may break your app)
