Wouldn't be easier/better to just create the link correctly in the first place? This is for a commercial product and as I said before everything worked fine until Acrobat 6, so I'm thinking something has been changed. You would need a binary editor for this. Altering the line length may require the file to be repaired when first run by the full version of Acrobat.
