Are you looking to use Full Acrobat or Acrobat Reader. With Full
Acrobat you can use IAC (look in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0
SDK\Documentation\InterApplication_Communication\IACReference.pdf) for
opening the PDF and the Field Tool to populate it(C:\Program
Files\Adobe\Acrobat 6.0
SDK\Documentation\Extended_API_For_Plugins\FormsAPIReference.pdf).
There is also the Javascript Object, but I am afraid I don't know enough
about it to be of much help.

Subject: [PDFdev] Opening a PDF and populating the form with data from
an SQL Database

List,

I am trying to find in the SDK information on how to open a PDF from a
Visual Basic application and populate the form with data from a specific
record in a MS SQL database.

If someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

I have been searching through the documentation for some time now and
cannot seem to find the information I need to get started.

I am programming the app in VB 6 (not .net). The platform is Windows 2k
and I'm using Acrobat 6 professional.

TIA,

Brent
