It sounds like you're sending both the PDF and the FDF in the email... why?

You can leave the PDF on a web or FTP server.  The Acrobat/Reader downloads
it automatically when the FDF is opened.  

Yes, you still send both, but not at the same time, and not in the email.  I
would think this would spread out the bandwidth hit a great deal... and
reduce it for people who never open the FDF in the first place.  I would
think the PDF would be significantly larger than the email and FDF together,
so that savings could be considerable.

Or have I misunderstood you?
