I have tried to edit your document and there was no problem except that
the file is linearized PDF (see 
http://pdfedit.petricek.net/pdfedit.design_doc#id2515725).
You can notice that a file is linearized in the title bar (
PDFedit - LZcontrib_2005.pdf (Linearized PDF)) or in the  Revision Toolbar
where no revisions are displayed and rather Linearized PDF is displayed
instead.
It is not recommended to edit linearized document in general, because
it can lead to document damage. If you have a linearized document, you
should delinearize it at first (Tools->Delinearize) and then you can
edit created document which has standard format.
